The VCBF will be distributing books at Prince Edward County Elementary School during their Spring Fling. There will be a bounce house, petting zoo, food truck, and more. Pre-K & K registration will also be happening during the event.

The VCBF is proud to partner with Simon & Schuster to bring you Spring 2024 Authorfest. Join TJ Alexander, Kaliane Bradley, & Jackie Lau in conversation with Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings, the duo behind the romance power-house Christina Lauren. Ahead of their upcoming releases, Alexander, Bradley, and Lau will discuss what makes a great romance, and how the genre can go beyond a simple love story. Zoom registration required. Appropriate for YA and up.

Healthy Kids Day® is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. For over 30 years, YMCAs and their communities hosted free community events aimed to inspire kids and families to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months and beyond. The VCBF will be at the Southside Virginia YMCA distributing books for Healthy Kids Day. Food trucks, competitions, vendors, and more.
